The Vitality Blast, England and Wales' premier Twenty20 cricket competition has provided a decade of explosive action and thrilling finishes since its inception in 2003.
The competition was established by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to introduce a faster, more exciting format of cricket, attracting new audiences to the sport. Twenty20 cricket, with its shorter format and explosive batting displays, proved to be a hit, and the Blast quickly gained popularity.
